Access to information is a social justice issue

We strive to ensure all people– regardless of age, education, ethnicity, gender, language, income, physical limitations or geographic barriers– have access to relevant, reliable, and credible information.

By creating unconventional avenues to access technology and learning, we meet people where they are and allow them to decide which information best meets their needs and interests.

National

Technology and Design Manager
The Technology and Design Manager will work closely with Libraries Without Borders US staff to incorporate a human-centered, design-based approach to develop technology and tech-based solutions for our growing portfolio of programs, with a strong focus on the Wash and Learn Initiative (WALI) and COVID-19 pandemic response. This person will be responsible for leading strategy, research, prototyping, testing, ideating, and implementing clear and thoughtful design solutions that support our team’s national efforts.

Baltimore

Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Libraries Without Borders US team to coordinate the design and implementation for media centers and educational programming in laundromats, community centers, and other community spaces in Baltimore. Ideal candidates are creative thinkers with strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time. They must be curious, organized, eager to learn new skills, flexible, forward-thinking, and familiar with Baltimore.
