For over a decade, we’ve worked tirelessly to promote access to information for under-served communities. Since our founding in 2007, Libraries Without Borders has been working around the world to promote equitable access to education. In the US, we work with communities, libraries, and non-profit agencies in over 10 states, as well as the District of Columbia and the Territory of Puerto Rico.
Our US work has been recognized for its innovative approach, including the Google Impact Challenge, the Library of Congress’ Literacy Award, and dozens of local and regional honors.
Libraries Without Borders US serves as the US branch of Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (BSF), an international organization with global headquarters in Paris, France.
The international projects are led by BSF International. In order to find more information about this work please visit https://www.librarieswithoutborders.org/.
