Now, more than ever, Libraries Without Borders US believes that equitable access to information, education, and culture can save lives.
We are working around-the-clock to ensure that all our communities have internet and a device at home. Otherwise, children will continue to lack the tools to learn online, adults will be unable to access unemployment benefits and professional opportunities, and communities will remain in the dark about critical public-health updates. We are also expanding the scope of our programs to address the special circumstances of COVID-19, including gathering resources, bringing together a Baltimore Digital Equity Coalition, and rethinking how our Wash and Learn Initiative (WALI) sites might function as critical response hubs that promote healthy behaviors and serve as access points for reliable information.
In the face of the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic, Libraries Without Borders US hopes that you and your loved ones are safe and well at home. Below, you will find a list of information and resources from trusted sources.
